The Time for Loving

So long it has been the time for me until I realize, and now I am still learning this beautiful little thing. God has given me so much time to love and to life in the way He wants me trough. Awesomely, yesterday when by God's providence I walked silently trough a small way in Lippo Village, I was just realized how much I have thought anything for myself and my benefit. This is natural may be for somebody but later or soon we'll really know that that's not fun and even boring.

"This is time for reflecting, loving, forgiving, sharing and giving. For as I have received, it is fitting for us to give", said my inner heart. Even though the process mostly are not really fun and pleasurable, take time and may be need our enormous effort, but never late to do this right now and today.
This is started from the Mercy of The Most High, The Most Powerful and The Most Holy one to really move with it. Because only by His Mercy and Blessing than we can make our single by single step. Tears. Repentance. Charity. Three wonderful things well-pleasing unto God!

Forgive me,

An unworthy servant of Jesus

Special Providence from God

Glory to Thee O God, Glory to Thee....

today, unexpectedly I was asked to teach Pelita Harapan School (Sekolah Pelita Harapan) grade 3 students. Praise be unto God, for Thou hast entrusted Anastasha, Samantha, Peter, Caleb, Mark, Shawn, Nivasan (expatriate students) under my guidance.

Grant that they may have mercy, life, health, salvation and visitation, remission of their sins, that they may ever praise Thy Holy Name. Amen....

Precious and unexpected Moment: BEA-utiful

These things always made me doubt with reality, sometimes one or two or more things just by somehow came into our lives without we predict it before or even you've never imagined that. But that moment just happen and so often, that became the Great moment in our lives.

This is what I feel this Tuesday and also this week, by the way.... when I met a really amazing man in my life, Fr. Daniel Byantoro. He's a really great man I ever really talk and meet with. O God now I can see and taste how wonderful You are and also met his nephew from Korea, Cho Ye Chan! I can not even describe it in words.

Unexpectedly, among my feeling being alone and helpless, the comfort from God is one thing that really make me amazed. He gave me a wonderful friend and even tough we have just met for the first time but because of His name, we even have been so close and like real brothers.

I was over-joyed and so glad to have such great and beautiful experience with Fr. Daniel, Ye Chan Yong, Ignatius ssi, and Peter ssi. Started from Monas tower, Miniature of Indonesia and then to Taman safari has changed my life and has opened my eyes to see more about what is life.

SOmething interesting with the language

Lippo Village, Jan'09

I was attending a course in this morning when Mr. Abednego introduced himself and told us so much things about the purpose of his lecture. In his speech in the front of the class, he encouraged us with many ideas about language, especially about the Bahasa Indonesia.

But one thing that really interesting was when he told us about 'the magic' of the language. Because many times, realising or not the language we use in every day basis really impact or better to say impact greatly to our reality and our life's event. That's an inevitable thing for each human kind. I also started to acknowledges since that moment that the very first time of language used was actually a sign used to communicate ideas and feeling.

And when I reflected on this, I was a little bit atonished to find that how God always deal with me, as a human being with the language of love as he approach the human kind. He was once also with the humble heart used the language of human in his humanity and also use language to love, nurture and blessed his disciples.
Awesome God!

Not a donkey

Ah, finally the subject which I little bit worry of this term came out yesterday. and that was CALCULUS 1. At first I was really preoccupied by the assumption that this course will be a hard one because I used to imagine it as limits and manny strange language that will I face along the way. But one thing made me so surprised yesterday was I found that even this course is the most exciting one for me since I was in the High school and all about line, funtion and other stuffs that made me really "happy".

I guess I will be like a donkey. Oops sorry, I dun mean to speak improperly, what I mean is I will get lost at some how in such world that I don't really understand, so I will be like sleeping in the market. But actually what I found was really different and made me be so motivated and optimistic about what will go on in this semester.

But, anyway I won't be ovewhelmed just by first impression of its *easiness* but I believe by the provision from my Master I will surrender all my will to Him, including all what I will face in this calculus lectures which at once I was really worry about yet now I found it up-side-down this time.

Guide me, my Master!

The book of the week: The fifth mountain by Paulo Coelho

This week during my end of holiday season this term, I tried to seek a book in my dormitory room because I felt a little bit jobless or in the more scientific term 'the transitional' phase after the vacation. Well, I decided to look for a book in my friends' personal library and I curious to find a fiction book entitled "The fifth mountain". This book is in the Bahasa Indonesian translation and I dunno why, simply because of the couriosity I read the back cover and then to the introduction of the book.

Actually I have known the name Paulo Coelho trough his work "Eleven minutes" and " The Alchemist". But I thought that this particular book was a mere romantic novel and I am just really curious about it. Shortly, I begin to read about this book for one instance.

And I just really enjoy not only because of the story about prophet Elijah which he described trough really nice and great profile of young charmy man but also the language and the way he makes the story flow. He just suceed to make me motivated to write a book right now.

The story also gave me a really clear image and imagination of the life in the ancient antiquity. I really guess that Paulo had so enermous knowledge of history and culture of mediteranian, so I also can learn about the customs, profile, ideology and even the sociological system of Fenicia. Awesome for him. And so far I really enjoyed that and his depiction of ideas, persons and also the culture settings of this novel. I also amazed of the soulspeech of Elijah about how he face the calamities around him. Great!!

Beautifully told

yesterday, after doing some matters in the library, I was very atonished by the sermon from Fr. Jonah about Orthodoxy in America. He told beautifully about how we should open the church door for every one. We not necesarily to be so isolated and keep the most precious treasure from our holy fathers in the box and just look at it. Instead, it is our previledge to share the gospel of Christ to those who have not heard about Christ, who have not yet understood about the Orthodox church and invite whoever who wants.

And then I also reflect on the Ancient Faith Radio podcast and heard an anonymous story told there in the podcast and here is the story:

An elder told his disciple to go to the cemetery and throw stones at the tombs of the dead people and when he came back the elder asked: "What happened?""Nothing." - said the disciple. "Ok. Now go there again and praise them and tell them the best words you can."When the disciple came back the elder asked him again:"What happened?""Nothing." - responded the disciple again. "Learn from the example of the dead in the tombs and do not be affected by insults, or praise." said the elder. (http://www.monachos.net/)

what a story. Praise be to God!

My really first class edition this semester with Mrs. Yvette

Aha, here it is the moment I really long for trough out this year, to attend the class this year and back to the normal life routines with my beloved friends. Ehm, many things just passed trough just like what Mrs. Connie said to us before: "you want it or not they just went by together with the time".

just like what just happened today. With a little bit crowd mass, I learn something very precious in the psychology class with Mrs. Yvette and my friends discovering about the Teaching students with diverse ability. She told us so many encouraging stories based on her life stories. Oh, what a story. She described how she dealt with some cases dealing with the FAS student (and I came forward as a model) and how she felt and set her attitude to her two different sons with their uniqueness.

I always learn more than what I expect in her class, everything just awesome I would say. Although I am not courage enough to say that it is perfect, yet I may learn much the way she translate the love into act. This thing is what I never see before. I am sorry may be this time I can not describe such detail and specific, but I will try to give more to be clarified soon.

However I told you, you will soon understand that it will be really easier for you to see and have relationship here right now with us in TC.

Thanks, Gracious Lord
