The book of the week: The fifth mountain by Paulo Coelho

This week during my end of holiday season this term, I tried to seek a book in my dormitory room because I felt a little bit jobless or in the more scientific term 'the transitional' phase after the vacation. Well, I decided to look for a book in my friends' personal library and I curious to find a fiction book entitled "The fifth mountain". This book is in the Bahasa Indonesian translation and I dunno why, simply because of the couriosity I read the back cover and then to the introduction of the book.

Actually I have known the name Paulo Coelho trough his work "Eleven minutes" and " The Alchemist". But I thought that this particular book was a mere romantic novel and I am just really curious about it. Shortly, I begin to read about this book for one instance.

And I just really enjoy not only because of the story about prophet Elijah which he described trough really nice and great profile of young charmy man but also the language and the way he makes the story flow. He just suceed to make me motivated to write a book right now.

The story also gave me a really clear image and imagination of the life in the ancient antiquity. I really guess that Paulo had so enermous knowledge of history and culture of mediteranian, so I also can learn about the customs, profile, ideology and even the sociological system of Fenicia. Awesome for him. And so far I really enjoyed that and his depiction of ideas, persons and also the culture settings of this novel. I also amazed of the soulspeech of Elijah about how he face the calamities around him. Great!!
